VALUING YOUR CULTURE

Respect at Work has a new workplace training workshop

The core business of Respect at Work is group/team training, this almost always involves a PowerPoint style presentation, with plenty of discussion, stories, and engagement. Training is then followed up with a report to the organisation; this report includes a summary of content covered and recommendations/suggestions as to how to further improve the team’s culture and use the activities and concepts provided during the training session.

One comment I deliver in every training session is that the actual training session is only the first part of the journey – it’s what happens AFTER the training that makes the difference.

Feedback and engagement indicate that the training component of this approach works extremely well. It’s the further work that is sometimes neglected.

The reasons as to why the recommendations/further work are not followed (or finished) are varied and plentiful I’m sure. Sometimes good intentions are simply lost amongst competing priorities. No judgement here 😊

Respect at Work’s new VALUING YOUR CULTURE course will help.

Rather than a training session VALUING YOUR CULTURE will be a practical and effective facilitated team workshop with interactive group activities to involve all team members.

VALUING YOUR CULTURE could be facilitated as a follow-up to a team training session or as a stand-alone group workshop.

VALUING YOUR CULTURE will work with the group to ID their current culture and then using your organisation’s values (or working to discover them) will explore:

·       Who are we as a team?

·       Who do we want to be?

·       What does respect and disrespect mean to us as a team?

·       Where is our line?

·       What are our boundaries?

·       How will we manage disrespect?

·       What will respectful communication sound like for us?

Real learning and change come from introspection, vulnerability, and curiosity. VALUING YOUR CULTURE will work with your staff to create an achievable action plan to build, improve, and maintain your respectful workplace culture.

Is your team good enough to get better?

Respect at Work facilitates discussions about respect, respectful communication, and respectful behaviours, click here to get in touch or have a look at some of the other training options we offer.
